Which areas does Ralmed cover?
Call 0861 725 633 and tell our control room where you are. Ralmed's ambulance and clinical services are arranged around where our clients operate, and our accredited training is delivered anywhere in South Africa. Where a call is beyond what we can reach in time, we will say so and point you to the public service.
Does Ralmed have branches elsewhere?
No. Ralmed has one base, at 89 Impala Road, Kelvin View, Sandton, and our crews and clinical teams work from there. Training courses are delivered at the client's own workplace, which is how they run anywhere in South Africa without a local branch.
What if my area is not listed?
Call 0861 725 633 and tell us where you are. The areas listed here are the ones we are asked about most, not a boundary. Our air ambulance flies within South Africa and across its borders, and our training runs nationwide. In a life-threatening emergency you can also call the public services on 10177, or 112 from a mobile phone.
Can Ralmed run a clinic at our site?
Yes. Ralmed runs remote site and occupational health clinics on a client's own premises, staffed by doctors, nurses and paramedics in the mix the workforce needs. Tell us where the site is, how many people work there and the shifts they cover, and we will propose the cover it needs.
Does Ralmed send ambulances to Soweto and the West Rand?
Yes. Ralmed's crews respond across the City of Johannesburg, including Soweto, and into the West Rand, including Roodepoort and Krugersdorp. Call 0861 725 633 and tell the control room the suburb, street and a nearby landmark, so the crew can find you. Our area pages list local details for each area.
Do you cover Pretoria and Centurion?
Yes. Pretoria and Centurion are covered, and the same number, 0861 725 633, applies. For planned transfers from hospitals there, book ahead so the crew and the receiving hospital are ready.
Which areas can use Ralmed's GP practice?
Anyone can visit the practice at 89 Impala Road, Kelvin View, Sandton, which is open 24 hours a day. It is within reach for people in Sandton, Midrand, Randburg, Sunninghill, Bryanston and Fourways. If you live further away, a video consultation with a Ralmed doctor may save you the trip.
Does Ralmed cover Ekurhuleni and the East Rand?
Yes. The East Rand towns are covered. Call 0861 725 633 from anywhere in the area, and give the control room clear directions and landmarks when you call.
